The Nutty Solutions Team

We're Nutty Solutions. We hail from five countries on three continents and speak six different languages fluently. We are pursuing five different degrees in three colleges. Our hobbies range from extreme sports to knitting and everything in between. Most of all, we're a group of individuals passionate about enacting change and making a difference in the fight against malnutrition.

Timi Adeyemi
BS Electrical Engineering, UT Austin, May 2009
Timi is an electrical engineering student working towards a business foundations certificate. He has professional experience with with Nortel and has done research in the wireless communications department at the University of Texas at Austin. Recently, he successfully lead the development, planning and execution of  the Roden Scholars' Case Study Competition (RSCSC), the first ever business case competition through the Cockrell School of Engineering.

Bobby Chiu

Bobby is a Financial Analyst at Applied Materials. His responsibilities include financial forecasting, tracking, and modeling of all business units period spending. His previous experiences include working in Financial Planning and Analysis and Installation and Warranty. Bobby would like to apply his skills and entrepreneur expertise to work in the environmental or renewable energy industry. In the summer of 2009, Bobby will volunteer with Project Peanut Butter in Malawi.

Sahil Jain
BS Electrical Engineering, BA Economics, UT Austin, May 2010

Sahil is a double major in electrical engineering and economics with a minor in finance at UT Austin. His professional experience includes working as an intern in the Business Advisory Services and Technology Services and Risk Solutions departments in Ernst & Young (summer 2007), and the Corporate Finance department in Addax Investment Bank (a local boutique investment bank in the Middle East in the summer of 2008)

John Kidenda

John graduated from the McCombs School of Business after majoring in Engineering Route to Business with concentrations in Computer Engineering and Accounting / Finance at UT Austin's McCombs School of Business. His professional experience includes working as an intern in the Investment Banking - Consumer industries group (summer 2008), Equity Linked Technology (summer 2008) and Foreign Exchange Trading Technology (summer 2006) departments at Merrill Lynch & Co. Prior to starting college he worked fulltime as an Information Architect for 3mice Interactive Media, a major information technology company in Nairobi, Kenya. He is currently working as a business analyst with a major health care consulting company.

Bryan Wilson
BS Electrical Engineering, UT Austin, May 2009

Bryan is an electrical engineering student with a focus on biomedical  engineering and mathematics and a soon to be medical student. His professional interests are in medicine and the modeling of health care systems to analyze the economic and health impact of new technologies and policies. He has worked on optical biomedical imaging, as an EMT with the Indian Health Services, and as a SCUBA Instructor. On campus, he is a member of the Roden Leadership Program and the Junior Fellows Program.

Krista Young
BS Biochemistry (Dean's Scholar Honors), UT Austin, May 2009
Krista is a biochemistry student who will be receiving a certificate in Global Health. She is deeply interested in health disparities, global poverty, and child health initiatives. Her past experience includes serving as president for UT China Care, a non-profit organization which sponsors emergency surgeries and education for special needs orphans in China, and developing a point-of-care, low-cost liver function test for HIV patients in resource poor settings. Krista will be volunteering in Malawi with Project Peanut Butter over the summer as a result of her commitment to action from the Clinton Global Initiative University and then will start her MD/MPH in the fall.
